Privacy notice
This notice explains how Aegis101 handles personal information submitted through public enquiries and controlled product access.
Last updated: 1 September 2026
Who is responsible
Aegis101 is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Privacy enquiries can be sent to info@aegis101.com.
Public website enquiries
The Register interest form prepares an email in your own email application. The website does not directly submit or store the form values. If you send the email, Aegis101 receives the information through its email service and uses it to respond to your enquiry, discuss product fit, and manage follow-up.
Please do not include passwords, sensitive assessment answers, confidential architecture details, or personal information about other people.
Controlled product access
For invited users, Aegis101 may process account identifiers, contact details, assessment context, submitted answers, saved reports, and relevant service records. This information is used to authenticate users, provide the assessment and reporting service, maintain security, investigate faults, and support authorised account administration.
Invitations and account requests
Account invitation, password-reset, and time-limited access processes may record the account identifier, contact email, display name, organisation, request reason, request status, relevant timestamps, and administrator action. Secure account links are stored as one-way token hashes rather than as reusable link values. Login and account-administration activity may also be recorded to protect the service and support investigation. Login-help requests can be submitted through the controlled support form and are reviewed by an authorised administrator.
Legal basis
Depending on the context, processing is based on steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and improving the service, legal obligations, or consent where consent is specifically requested.
Sharing and processors
Information may be processed by service providers used for hosting, databases, authentication, email, security, and operational support. Aegis101 does not sell personal information. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to protect the service and its users.
Retention
Enquiry information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage the relationship, and meet legal obligations. Account and assessment records are retained in line with the service relationship, authorised user needs, security requirements, and applicable legal obligations. Data may be deleted or anonymised when no longer required.
Cookies and local storage
The public information pages do not use advertising cookies. Controlled product pages may use technically necessary cookies or browser storage for authentication, security, session continuity, and application function.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law and circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact Aegis101 to make a request. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Security and international processing
Aegis101 applies proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect information. Where a service provider processes information outside the UK, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards will be used where required.
Changes
This notice may be updated as the service and its processing arrangements change. The published date will identify the latest version.
